Another Apology

I would like to apologize to Mike Nelson. Since my supposed mispronunciation of Magus were made public, jackals have descended on him and his family. Leaving the house for a cup of coffee has turned into a horrible ordeal. If only he could turn into a floor and be left in peace. Mike is a good man who deserves better. Sure, he pronounces "Karaoke" weird and most of us just let it slide, but that is no reason to make this man's life a living hell. I apologize from the bottom of my heart for what he has had to endure.

Oh oh! Ok, this is very late, but I was just listening to a history podcast and they mention "Simon Magus" - pronounced "may-gus" as the "Father of all Heretics" because he went around doing magic tricks and claiming he was an Apostle. Maybe this is related? Anyway, for what it's worth.
