Episode 24 - ¡El Pelo Hinchable!
Added 2018-11-16 12:30:01 +0000 UTCTo the inattentive and brainless layman* it might appear that not much happened during this stretch of TekWar. Mostly Jake aka Jonatha and Juanito aka The Android(???) just sat and talked to people about other people we haven't met yet. Somehow, we discussed this for nearly two hours.
Folks stepped up their fanfic this time around, probably due to the new conditioner they're using that leaves their hair bouncing around at all times for some reason. We also sort out how Jake could be puzzled (twice!) by the term kamikaze, guess characters exact ages and weights, and give credit where credit is due to a scene that actually made us laugh.
No new ep next week because of Thanksgiving, but we hope to have something extra up for Patreon supporters! To those of you celebrating, have a great turkey day! And for next time, read thru Chapter 15.
*I grinned as I found myself recognizing the turn of phrase from the classic 80s-90s comic strip Calvin and Hobbes

My book finally arrived today! I'm not sure if I'll be able to catch up to where you guys are...although I guess I could skip ahead.

On that show he talked to a chimp who never replied, so he should be a natural for the scenes when Jake is talking out loud to himself.

2018-11-18 01:54:14 +0000 UTCTrevor's good a good (if painful) idea. Me? I wanna see a Let's Play of Mike and Conor playing 1995's classic first person shooter video game "William Shatner's TekWar," which comes on a CD-Rom and is played for fun on a PC by one or more players.

2018-11-17 08:39:47 +0000 UTCI just looked up the series on IMDB. William Shatner as Walter H. Bascom. Needless to say, I have just finalised my purchase of the 7-disk DVD set on eBay. For $17.

Also, I'd like to hear Chuck Heston's isolated dialog from Omega Man and Soylent Green as well as Planet of The Apes. Mash em all together. Chucksploitation is the best exploitation.
