v0.2.81: The Plan

I often post rambling devblogs, previews, or bizarre future lore rants on the IBH Discord - but there's a lot of members here that aren't there, so I'll start porting 'em over to Patreon.

I've been quiet for a bit too long. Here's the plan, as it stands.

The next couple updates will be small and frequent - v0.2.81, 82, etc. Tying up loose ends all across Crescyt, adding repeatable scenes, expanding rail features, etc. Small bits of content to drip feed during the downturn (and keep IBH on top of the 'recently updated' sections of certain sites).

And this is all a cover for the real work - v0.3 development is underway! Art, music, stories, piling it all on the table and assembling the puzzle piece. But instead of 2 months of nothing and then a big release, I'm trying to keep the content flowing while I work on the Big One. We'll see how it goes! Spent a lot of time this week pacing like an insane man, working over old ideas in my head, figuring out how they'll actually be implemented in the game... fun stuff, but hard to nail down the schedule on it.

All this to say - expect v0.2.81 very soon. Maybe this week! But there won't be that much in it. Like, to the tune of an h-scene and some followup, and that's it. Skip it and sleep well. Meanwhile a constant stream of sketches and teasers will be posted for v0.3 in the meantime, and patrons will get the usual firehose of recently-made assets in ⁠freshly-forged. Which is a channel on the discord and a category here on Patreon - I'll also start posting that here as well.
