WE WATCH ANIME Episode 3 Out Now!

I thought that these podcasts would slip under two hours once we'd caught up on all of the shows, but a week of exciting new episodes kept us talking a lot longer than expected! We complained about Oshi no Ko's fifth episode for about half an hour, before praising its last scene for the next ten minutes; then we gushed about the latest KamiKatsu up 'til near the podcast's first hour mark. Mashle ended up with the strongest episode of the whole week, while Heavenly Delusion and Skip & Loafer continued to impress with some of their best offerings yet. Dead Mount Death Play reached whole new levels of bafflement, while The Dangers In My Heart evened itself out of a rocky patch of relating to the character a little too much without really enjoying it. Pokémon Horizons and Dr. Stone had the only truly middling episodes this week, but still gave us more to talk about than last time.

I love the groove we've settled into with this show, and I'm very excited about the bonus episode that we'll be recording based on whichever show wins the poll voted on by $5+ backers in the next week! I'm also still open to possibly adding more shows to our current seasonal roster, with Magical Destroyers in particular catching my eye as something we might investigate.
