Bonus #31 - Easy For You To Say (Part 3)

Doctor Steve joins us to go through a few more chapters of Stuttering John's masterpiece. This time we learn about John's early childhood. Some highlights - a young John was beaten for wanting to do his homework (lie), he was a star tee-ball player (who cares), and he walked a mile to school when he was four (bullshit).

After much discussion on everything that's wrong with John's brain we chat about Bert Kreischer. His interviewing skills are just non-existent.

And stick around for a special Covid edition of the game that's sweeping the nation, "Who Said It?"

Is it possible to punch any further down than Karl pounding a deceased Vic Henley for having a sparse Wikipedia page? He dead. You won.

Paid for Patreon just for the Stuttering John book bashing! Love you, love the show.

Great show! Hope you blackout tonight Karl. As a Patriots fan, I will be but for the wrong reasons. Congratulations.

Dr. Steve is an angel. He sits on my right shoulder. Karl sits on my left.

Karl: Who are you talking about? Dr Steve: I don’t wanna say. Karl: Come on. Dr. Steve: Well alright.

I am surprised the Dabblers Anonymous folks did not send SJ a popcorn tin for the holidays.

Haha this is a very good point, and very humorously put. How indeed can Karl be skeptical of stuttering John's abuse stories, and do a podcast that deals in nothing but an endless River of child abuse and mayhem? Also knowing how annoying John must have been as a kid... In the words of the immortal Chris Rock, "I'm not saying I agree with it, I'm just saying I understand."

Dr Steve

I got a legit headache listening to John

Ben Olmstead

I love Dr Steve! He got so uncomfortable at points, but that just speaks to his good character. Karl never believes bad things happen, which is odd given his hobbies. People get abused for no reason?! That never happens! Yes, Karl, it does. How can Karl wade through the horror of a scum stream yet consistently be genuinely amazed at other's random misfortune? Lucky bastard, he is unshakably happy.

Principled Uncertainty

I know there ain’t no fact checkin’, but to be fair, Last Call (aired at 1:30am on NBC after Late Night) was one of the longest-lived late night programs ever, they just thankfully went with Carson Daly to host the thing instead of loser-ass StutJo

Jackie Marlowe

Im just going to say it, Dr Steve is the only person with good vocal fry.

Dr. Steve tis a saint on eardth

You didn't play the new heavy metal version of the intro? It has to legitimately used once, at least

Howard Crane

How, dare you question John's OCD. He can't sleep at night without shotgunning 7 beer's
