Chad is a fucking loon and I don't believe a word he says. "I got fired because we were too popular. When I was on we were the best, now they suck. Everybody is mean to me." I think you might be the problem, Chad. He sounds like that guy Manson who was the only funny person on Bubba the Lovesponge (is that right?) For 23 years. These radio guys can fuck all the way off. Holy goddamn ego, Batman.

Answers to a few questions which were raised on the show - - Cleveland still has a full-cast afternoon drive FM talk show because that format does abnormally well in CLE for some reason. O&A in their WNEW afternoon days drew a 35 share in Cleveland at their peak in 2001-02. The Maxwell Show (which was always absolute dog shit) was #1 in afternoons in the mid-to-late aughts, and Maxwell even had actual competition from O&A's morning terrestrial show aired on tape delay in afternoons between 2006-08. - WMMS isn't the blue collar aka "construction site" station, they haven't been that for over a decade at least. WMMS is basically an FM talk station that plays rock music filler in between the money dayparts (Rover in morning and Alan Cox in afternoon drive). Always good to hear a WATP about a show I actually know. The Wikipedia page analysis was savage.

Why do you hate your patrons Karl? This show was a gold mine. Having this pilfering Melender air out his grievances, again, was a dud. Coulda been great...

So let me get this straight. Karl makes fun of this Alan guy multiple times for saying he was fired because he was making too much money and they wanted to get rid of him. Chad then says right after that he was fired for the same fucking reason, but said in a different way. He said "firing me was a way they could get a lot of money off the books." You can't make this shit up, hilarious!
