Should I change my watermark?
Added 2022-07-24 05:54:51 +0000 UTCrecently i made a commission that i thought went really well, the client was nice and understanding and fun to work with, they asked me if i could make my watermark smaller, which i explained i wouldn't because art theft honestly makes me really anxious
they said ok and didnt make a big fuss about it in the moment, but when i got their review on my work they gave me a 1.7 stars and said it was a 'horrible practice' on my part
i'm aware of how big my watermark is, i very intentionally made it that big because i am genuinely anxious that someone will try and steal my art, i work very hard on it and it would really bother me to see other people claiming its theirs, but this review left me wondering if maybe its obstructing my art?
i dont think its too jarring, i have seen other art that have big watermarks on them, but i dont want my big watermark to get in the way of people enjoying my art, so
should i change it? make it smaller, or make a different design for it?
