Serious Thinking
Added 2025-08-31 14:54:46 +0000 UTCSometimes, things aren't going really right. That's when you need a Serious™ Thinking® (Clothing optional). What better way to really focus than to immerse yourself in liquid and wallow into your own thoughts?
I like drawing "tasteful" nudity like this. She just has her boobas out. She's not even doing anything or doing some crazy pose. In my mind there's barely anything NSFW about this. Not that I'd want to see this in SFW, but... I dunno, I just don't see it as porn? Am I just arguing my art is "special"? Am I huffing my own farts? Am I daddy's special little girl? Will you pay attention to me?
What else, what else, drawing water is fun. How do you convey it when you're limited to a fixed gamut of 4 colours? (White, black, grey, blue). I nearly always make the background blue (There's counter-examples) but people usually think of water as blue. Of course, you only see the finished piece, and not all the trials and errors and variants.
Also, I tried Krita. I can't get it to make smooth pixel lines, so I'll stay with Gimp. Bleh. Blog time over.
