It's been about a year since I started working on this update, and my Makima model has gone through a lot of different revisions in that time, but I believe I'm finally at the point where I'm happy with how she looks.
One of the big reasons it took so long for me to update this model was because I saw a few negative comments about this model on a post where someone was using it in an animation and I got very self-conscious about how she looked. After that point, I spent a lot of time seeing in what ways I could improve how I make my models because I felt very embarrassed. And I now finally feel like this is something I would be satisfied releasing to the public.
As shitty as it may feel in the moment, I do appreciate the criticism that I received. That's was a major part of what pushed me to make my models look as good as possible.
