Become a Sorcerer 3.0: Specializations
Added 2019-03-02 17:36:17 +0000 UTCThe Sorcerer update is finally here! After nearly two months of work, I'm releasing it to you now. You can get it and read all about it here:
https://triplis.github.io/mods/sorcerer.html
You can also watch a couple teaser-like things I made for the update:
(Not that you need a teaser when you can just download the update now. :P)
I hope that you enjoy it! There's a lot of detail to cover, so rather than try to summarize here, I'm just going to let the mod page speak for itself on this one.

Thanks for the report. I took a look and it looks like the walk spell thing is an oversight; I missed the XP loot there. I will get that fixed soon. The 7% gain for random hairstyle and weather spells at level 3 looks to be implemented correctly (I don't have a % set, it's based on a preset standard called "Small", but I'm guessing that's what the calculation for that level for Small comes out to, if you saw 7%). Though it may be a little painfully slow (I tested it at least once when making it, but I don't remember how slow it felt off-hand, personally). Once you get to level 4, you get access to some Burst spells, which give significantly more and then Mass spells give even more than that, so that it's not too tedious to reach level 10 mischief arts by casting spells (or at least, that was the goal).
2019-03-03 20:16:13 +0000 UTCI noticed that under mischief arts, the random walk spell doesn't gain any skill points, while at level 3 the random hairstyle and weather spells gives about a 7% gain.

2019-03-03 20:01:45 +0000 UTCShould be 100% fine with existing Sorcerer saves. Some abilities you may lose access to since they were moved from Black/White Arts skill to the Specializations, but you can optionally use the new Cheats menu to quickly and easily regain access by maxing out Specializations and you can turn off their decay too, so you aren't bothered with the progression system of it, if you aren't interested in that. :)
2019-03-03 19:00:02 +0000 UTCWill this revision, being very different than the 2.5 one, work with a save game last played with 2.5? Should I start a New game?
