Where I'm at with Modding

Hi folks,

As some of you may have noticed, I kind of dropped off the face of the earth for a while. Even updating mods was slow and still is. The primary reason for that - distractions from my RL - hasn't changed, but I've made a bit of time to try to organize some things, so that they are easier to manage going forward.

I was planning to close down my Patreon as part of a plan to clean up things I'm not attending to and consolidate my communication channels into one place, but after a lot of deliberation, I'm thinking I will keep the Patreon and use it as the main blog-post-like communication channel.

I can write posts such as this one that you all can see, even if you are not a patron.

I'm also working on a mostly-finished website for hosting my mods, which I intend to make the place to go to find information on mods I've made and download updated versions of them. Again, this is part of the overall effort to consolidate and make things easier to manage.

The easier it is for me to manage, the quicker I can get updates out and communicate with those of you who use my mods.

In line with this, my aim is to eventually phase out using Twitter, Youtube, or ModTheSims. I don't intend to delete them at this time, as there is a fair bit of history on each (especially the Sorcerer mod on MTS), but the current aim is for future communication and downloads to be handled only through Patreon posts/messages and my website.

Note that you can click the Follow button on my Patreon page to keep track of things from me, even if you aren't a Patron. You'll be able to, "See any of the creator's publicly-facing posts directly from your home page [on Patreon]."

If you have any thoughts or comments on this post, feel free to share. Thank you for your interest and support throughout my time in this community.
