Other PoV chapters?

Pretty soon now, Pandy is going to start spending a good amount of time away from the kids. This brings us to the eternal question: Who Said What Now?

The first option is, of course, to continue with Pandy as the sole PoV, and have people tell her what she missed when she gets back. The second option is to pick a second primary PoV, and stick to them when Pandy isn't around. Third option is to jump around to whoever's convenient.

To be clear, these would probably be one or two-chapter breaks while Pandy is gone, just filling us in on important things, not the minutiae of class-time (unless that's something people want? This is theoretically a slice-of-life, after all.)

If I were to go with the second option, whose perspective would you like to see? I could go with Thaniel, but of course I'd do my best to get into a six-year-old's head, which could be fun or could be annoying to a reader. It would also be necessarily limited, since he won't be in on adult conversations, and won't get implications that someone older would.

Isidor is a possibility. It would let me give more of his background, though of course he has an arc coming where we'll learn all of that. He would be involved in the things Thaniel wouldn't, but I don't think being in Izzy's head would be very much fun.

Neither Professor Beeswick or Augustus are options right now, though eventually Augustus will be on the table, as it were.

The other big option is one of the elementals. Miss Cupcakes would be the best, at least in my mind, since there are a few things about her that would be best explained through her voice, and she's sneaky, with a definite tendency to go wandering around uninvited. As a nonhuman, however, she still won't get some things, though that could be entertaining.

Or is there someone else you'd like to see? I could do chapters from the perspective of almost anyone who's a regular at this point and will stay at school, including Matilda, Suzanne, Ellie, Geri, or Bing.

I could also go with option three and just pick whoever seems like they would work the best at the time, which would eventually end up as All of the Above. This would take some of the impact out of each person's arcs, since we'll get their secrets before Pandy does, but I can just have them not think about some things.

Or...just stick with Pandy? What do you think?
