How are you doing today? Just in time before the end of the month, I finished another painting. It's loosely inspired by the game Stray. I'm not much of a gamer myself, but I've been watching my bf playing, and I absolutely love the world and atmosphere. But I wanted to make this scene my own, and bring in a bit more sunlight.
I initially tried to finalise this in poster colour, but I ended up scanning it in at about 80% finish, and painted the remaining bits and pieces in Photoshop. I'm still having a hard time controlling values in traditional media, especially with a dark-ish scene such as this one. I'll just keep practicing. But even though I didn't end up finishing this in poster colour, as I intended, I love all the textures I was able to create. I hope you like it, too!
