New Painting & Quick Update

I hope you're doing well. I know I haven't posted anything in a while, but I just took a break to visit friends in Ireland. And just as I was returning, I caught a pretty bad cold. So I've been spending a couple of days in bed to recover. But I'm alrealy feeling a lot better, and ironically, this might have been the break I really needed.
Anyway, here's a new painting I just finished! I love magic realism, and the idea of just shifting one aspect of reality slightly to make things seem off and a little otherworldly. So the concept of bringing rain indoors seemed kind of interesting to me. I enjoyed painting all the reflections and light effects. Plus, I'm really excited about fall, so I added a ginkgo tree to the scene.
