Hello friends, I hope you're well!
As you know I've been 100% occupied with preparing and promoting the Kickstarter.
Behind the scenes, I've also been going back and forth with the designer on the layout of the art book. I wanted it to be minimal and delicate, more than anything else. There are many spreads in there that feature large illustrations going across two pages, but also a good portion that feature more text and smaller images in more of a collage style. These give you a pretty good idea of the general direction and vibe of the book. So I figured I'd share some of them with you.
I really hope you like them and I can't wait for you to see the rest of the book!

Unfortunately, I haven't been able to start a new illustration since I've finished "Morning Routine". There were so many small tasks that I needed to complete and I wasn't able to focus. I've also been feeling very tired and restless at the same time. I've been posting on social media every single day for weeks now and usually, I just completely unplug on weekends. I'm looking forward to doing that again! I also decided to take time off from 13-30 June, after the Kickstarter and my current round of Schoolism critiques are done. No distractions.
The good news is, I've picked up a book for the first time in... a year I think? Getting lost in a book calms me down like nothing else and I can't wait to make reading a habit again.
