Hello my friends!

I hope you’re having a good day. Today, I started on a new illustration involving two kids, snow, a deer and a rather complex background. Every year around Christmas I just feel like drawing something seasonal. Though for the last few years winters haven’t been the same here. All we get is rainy snow and frozen mud. But hey, that’s one magical thing that art can do: bring you back to those things that you’ve lost so that you can experience them again (at least sort of).

Something else that’s pretty exciting is that deviantART contacted me to do an official feature for their Facebook page. They’ve done one a couple of years ago and the reaction has been very positive. My style has changed a lot since then, so it’s nice to get the chance for an update. I‘ve answered a bunch of interview questions yesterday and the thing should go live in the near future.

Lastly, I’m finally reading The Lies of Locke Lamora by Scott Lynch after it‘s been recommended to me a million times. So far I haven’t really gotten into it (finished the prologue), but I’m excited to see where it’s going!

I‘ll write about the whole year 2018 after Christmas. Just seems like a good time to wrap it up!
