I Need Your Feedback to Make My Patreon Better

I've been thinking about how I can make things better for you here and how I can be more engaged. I want this to feel like an exclusive little club and a safe space. And I need your ideas to make it the best it can be. So if you have any ideas and suggestions, please comment! I'm open to anything - except getting rid of the Pay What You Want reward system. I really love that one, hehe! But I could imagine doing a little monthly giveaway - just something that shows you that your support means a lot to me.

I'm definitely bringing the livestreams back next month. It's just been a very busy time for me and my fellow streamers. But we're wanting to get back to it as soon as we can!

Something I'm curious about is how many posts you'd like to see. I've always been very cautious of how much I'm posting because I didn't want to spam you. I thought "I have my regular posts on social media and only the most important stuff here on Patreon", but maybe it should be the other way around? Maybe you should get even more content? Or it's probably better to give you exclusive things that I don't post anywhere else, rather than just MORE. Again, please tell me in the comments what you think about that.

So here comes the question: How many times should I post on Patreon?

Wow, I’ve never heard about something like this. I think it’s hard for me to imagine that people would actually go through all that trouble to work on somebody else’s line work. But then again, I have seen a lot of people host colouring contests. That might be fun, too. Definitely something to think about, thank you. 😊

I'm really late but i figured something i feel really lovely, a few artists give every 2/3 month a lineart of one of their creation to their patreon base and together they perform to make their own version of the result, the patron try to bring together everyone of the sketchs and then is setting up a livestream where they exchange about every result. It's really something that take time and i understand why it's not recurrent due to the back stage organization, but i think these little livestream/chat session relly bring something up only available in patreon. Like DJamila said earlier, a little private club. ps: my i should have named myself the english butcher :)

Iβ€˜m the same! I just want to support people and don’t care much for their updates tbh. I just want them to take my money and do their thing. πŸ˜‚ Those are great suggestions, thank you!

I'm probably an outlier here, but since I support a bunch of Patreons (and kickstarters) I get way too many updates to keep up with. I still have more than 2000 unread Patreon updates, with as many read). So I would probably not even notice if you or another creator changed their frequency... That said, here are some ideas how Patreon and uploads to other sites could complement each other: You might collect several art pieces (that you've already posted on social media) into a single Patreon update. An external gallery (on your website, or for patron access only) might go along with that. Several persons above already posted suggestions for Patreon-exclusive stuff (work in progress, inspirations, tutorials...). One thing I enjoy are wallpapers, so if that's something you're willing to do, I'd love to see that. A way to share more personal stuff (again, only if you're fine with that) is by talking about your everyday life in connection to your art. Do you listen to music while drawing (which albums), do you revise a lot, have you ever revisited an older piece, do you enjoy "comfort food" while working, etc.
