What to Expect in 2024

We are making big changes to the Pin Club starting with January 2024, so please be sure to read through this whole post.

December is All About Moving

First, we are now deep in the process of moving (yay)! We are taking a final inventory of everything left after MFF and Black Friday, packing our products in boxes and dismantling the furniture so it is ready to move. As a result, it's highly unlikely that we will be releasing any new items during December. Shipping would be too complicated when our entire office is boxed up and in transit. :)

The goal is to finish the entire move before Christmas, so we should be comfortably settled into the new location during the week before New Year's. This means we can proceed to ship December Pin Club in the days before the New Year as scheduled. Hopefully, if all goes well, we can start 2024 with some exciting new releases!

2024 Pin Club Theme

Every year we pick a theme for our Pin Club. 2024 is slated to be Aesthetics!

The aesthetics theme allows us to be creative within the monthly subthemes. Here are all of the ones planned for 2024:

May: Mermaid
June: Spacecore
July: Ethereal
August: Grunge
September: Kidcore
October: Witchcore
November: Pastel Goth
December: Vintage

2024 Ultimate Pin Theme

Every year we usually theme the ultimate pins as well. This year we're focusing on Foxberries!

Like before, we'll be releasing a regular one, a shop stock one, and a birthday one for Ultimate members having their birthday that month. The one above is for January. :)

Changes with the Pin Club

Our Pin Club started in May 2018. It's been more than five years since then, and a lot has changed with manufacturing costs, but the prices have been the same since 2018.

This is because Patreon doesn't let you change the price of tiers while customers are signed up for them. This gave us the option of making a new tier, but getting people to switch is also complicated. The best solution we have come up with is adjusting the number of pins available in the tiers.

To that end, we have removed the sponsor and mini-sponsor pins from all the tiers starting in January 2024. With the cost of pins increasing over 4x over the years, something had to change to ensure this club remains possible for us to run. It has been difficult with the very slim margins over the last year, and this change allows us to continue doing so.

The first package affected by this change will be billed on January 1, 2024. The December Package still has all of the usual pins in it.

It's definitely going to be a quiet month with the move going on in the background. In the meantime, we will continue our work on the Egyptian Gods Kickstarter, which is still expected to launch in March 2024. The project is still expanding, and we are prepping lots of information for each deity. It's going to be a fun project :)
