2024-05-19 11:58:06 +0000 UTCIn volume 34 of my hero, horikoshi reveal that he planed to reveal the traitor during the training camp in season 2 but decided to keep it for later. The training camp arc was supposed to be longer but apparently Japan didn't like the twist of the villains being introduced in that arc and the popularity of my hero went down by a lot in Japan so he decided to cut the camp arc short.

When the villains invade the training the first time, afterward Aoyama keeps asking everyone where they thought he was the whole time but they keep ignoring him. Then someone finally bites he just poses and says "I was hiding." It was a funny moment but I believe it was the author hinting at him being the traitor.
