Don’t know if it’s been brought up but I’ve been rereading OP and kuma’s moment after hearing the “deal” from Saturn really reminded me of Dr.Hiriluk. When he gets to the city and realizes it was just a trick and is happy that it was because it means no one was actually sick. 😭 & Kuma saying he’ll gladly accept any fate as long as Bonney is cured. Pure hearts.

Saturn's ability was effecting everyone but the marines, Kizaru is the only marine present that has a reason to protect them and we know he didn't want to kill Vegapunk but he had no choice but to follow orders. I even remember him saying something along the lines of not wanting to harm any more old friends when speaking about I think it was Sentomaru. I imagine after he's seen what Luffy's capable of in Gear 5 and the lengths Saturn's willing to go to kill everyone, he's decided to help Luffy in the hope he can protect what's more important to him.

And theres 800 years since the void century. If you think about it, 1 wife per 100 years or so... Maybe she was to be Imu's wife and she passed away due to Saturn's experiments implying that Imu never saw any of his wifes as valuable probably. Remember, Saturn doesn't say that he ran the experiments on all 8 wifes, only that his recent experiments on humans were failures but this simply included Ginny. Not my theory, heard it online

Oda is so incredible with his storytelling.

This is a masterclass on how to write a fictional story. Anyone who wants to learn how to write good stories should first read this series. We are actually witnessing one of the best fictional stories ever written.

2023-12-28 02:00:25 +0000 UTCIn the manga volumes Oda draws all the strawhats in different future timelines. So there’s a future Luffy/Zoro/Usopp if things go well and another if things go bad. When Bonney uses her devil fruit she is choosing a different future version of herself to turn into. So when she uses Distorted Future: Nika, she’s transforming into a future version of herself if she was Nika. That’s why Saturn said as you start to see that future as impossible it limits her abilities.

This is next week's chapter. So next week is definitely no One Piece. That's just how it works with the leaks during National Holiday breaks like New Years or Golden Week
