yo khan i was doing some research on how people with autoimmune disorders have utilized diet to manage their symptoms. So it seems that a common technique people utilize to see what foods help them keep their symptoms from inflammation or getting worse is by isolating a food group. They literally isolate different foods like meats, veggies, etc, each for like a week or two and see the effects of those foods on their bodies and see if it helps decrease the inflammation or symptoms. Maybe you can try that with missus and see if you both observe any positive changes. Hopefully that helps

My gf suffered from the same issue, she lost a lot of weight and nearly died she always had very pale skin and her immune system was attacking her body. Your wife has a rare autoimmune disease and because of that, there is next to nobody speaking on their experience of trying a different diet and the pros and cons of that with this condition. Her disease also seems to be incurable from what I know. However, there is plenty of evidence of people trying a ketogenic diet (high fat, moderate protein, low carbohydrate) and/or a carnivore diet (very strict diet consisting only of meat/low carb animal products) and significantly improving and even curing their autoimmune diseases. Autoimmune disease is when the immune system mistakenly attacks its own bodily tissue, damaging it and leading to inflammation in the process. There are many different causes of inflammation, these being "stress, hidden infections, food allergies or sensitivities, toxic exposure, genetic predisposition, nutrient deficiencies, and leaky gut". Diet wouldn't be the only intervention to take (see my links below for other interventions), but long story short diet is plenty for many many people to significantly improve and even cure some autoimmune diseases. In your wife's case, just based on my brief research I don't think this is a disease that can be cured, and I feel that at best interventions such as diet would only help make the symptoms more manageable but even still that should be worth a shot at looking into this. It's a shame cuz I thought they had the season fully completed and i was eagerly waiting years for season 2 cuz i loved season 1... but the higher ups in Mappa are just really greedy and don't care about the product's quality

So far I’ve seen it’s an autoimmune disease and Jordan Peterson and his daughter have famously spoken about how a carnivore diet cured their autoimmune diseases to everyone’s surprise even their doctors. A full time carer is different from a full time job, full time job is set for specific hours of a day, a carer is literally 24/7. When the muscles flare up, like it has now, she cant move from room to remove without assistance. Shes full on wheelchair bound. Having 4 kids on top of that, im absolutely struggling, i feel awful, depressed, everything you can imagine. And i know this is something many ppl do not wanna hear and maybe rightly so, no one joins here for that purpose. Hence why i havent made an update in this, i just feel like there be more negative replies than positive. Il give everything i own for some me time right now, but at this stage its only possible if outside help comes and i have made plans, just waiting for their confirmation. Hate this f***ing mentality of ppl in the family when they say you have to deal with it, yh im aware but some help even once every few days will help my mental health alot.
