Hey everyone,
Tomorrow is the big day! From Sunday until Wednesday, if everything goes well, I’ll be running 185km / 115 miles with Vilk in Swedish Lapland. We have 4 days to finish the race and I will be carrying all our food, supplies and gear in my pulk.
You can actually track us over the course of the race, here’s the link:

(Please note tracking will begin around 9:45am European time on Sunday)
How am I feeling? I think the best way to describe it is…. I have been incredibly nervous over the last weeks, especially given that our weather forecast is not looking good - it’s very warm which means the snow is soft and slushy, and terribly hard to walk or run on.
But being here, I’ve realized that the only things that matter are:
1. Make sure Vilk is doing good
2. Make sure Vilk is still doing good
3. Try to enjoy it!
…since this is my list of priorities, and NOT finishing the race, it’s taken a lot of pressure off. We’re here to have a good time, whatever happens and whatever the outcome ends up being.
Wish us hard-packed trails and good weather!
Eva
