Everything went well. I’m just tired, in pain, and retaining urine, so I’m sitting on a pad in case of overflow incontinence. I’ll be going home tomorrow.

2022 is ending - and 2023 beginning - with a bang. I am (sorry to say) having medical procedure #2 of the year, and I'll be recuperating at home for three weeks before returning to work. My hope is, once I'm back to my senses after the first week, to get a lot of writing done during my recovery. I'm excited for the chapters and stories I have in the queue. There will be lots of Isabel, Gordy, Jamie, Daphne and Mary, and the anonymous hero of the holiday series to come in January and beyond!

As someone dealing with IC myself from time to time (probably stress related), it is nice and refreshing to see people with our condition find supportive partners in the stories you write, rather than be infantalized (as other stories and some people IRL do).
