Shadowfang Went Missing
Added 2025-01-13 18:35:47 +0000 UTCShadowfang escaped two days before Christmas Eve and was stuck outside for 2 rainy, cold December days. We were worried sick, and unsure if he would ever come back.
Christmas Eve at 9pm we heard a little meow at the door! A Christmas miracle! He was so skinny and covered in small cuts/punctures.
We concluded he got stuck under a bramble bush (we have a lot of blackberry bushes where we live). We don’t know how long he was under there, but my guess is the majority of the time he was gone. He clearly hadn’t eaten and was shaken by the experience.
To conclude the story, he now wears an AirTag 24/7. And although we don’t allow him outside, if he ever escapes again we will know exactly where to pick him up ❤️

One day I came home to find the front door WIDE OPEN D= which luckily seemed to be purely oversight, not a break-in, and the cats got out and while two of them were used to it and normally got out and came back, one (Gabriel) had never been outside since we rescued him and he vanished for many days... ...until he just showed up in the garage late one night like nothing had happened =D little punk! (
