Wanted to post how i get my faces to look good. i’m very pick on what details make the face look natural and normal. I’m heavily inspired by Rzhevskii and his/their style although I do think he over does details but the faces are always recognizable.
I usually start with a reference photo. Sometimes I can ”facehand“ it but I often need multiple references both of the subject and a similar looking face in a similar angle.
In this case I had a low res photo but it had enough detail and shadows to get a rough outline from. to me this is a important part since If my rough outline has too much details, it’ll lead to adding even more in the final version making it so i have to rework the face multiple times.
After that I add final detail and clean up the lines, in this one I was ask to make her be smiling, since she would be in a gang bang. i was given a few pictures of her smiling and was able to work that into the face.
after that it just a matter if sizing the face and making redraw and details that become too blurry.
