THE LATEST...

What an amazing weekend!

We stayed in yet another lovely Airbnb where we were able to record some great Yoga Flows for Laura’s Boat Fit crew, Ross was busy editing (see previous LIVE on the Sailing Holly Blue Private Members group one Facebook 😂) and we had the most touching visit with Greek captain Antonis Kampourakis - who has been diving into the depths of the Aegean sea, scouring the seafloor for precious sponges, for over 50 years!

Antonis is over 80 years old and still to this day dives for sponges! He has reached depths of 60 metres with only a single breath and sadly also witnessed many tragedies due to other divers who experienced the bends.

Both boys learnt all about sponge diving in a lesson with mum beforehand and then drew Antonis a picture before conducting their OWN interview with him! It’s going to be the CUTEST episode when it comes out you guys!

And as you can see Ross got to crack open a beer with him - Antonis doesn’t speak a word of English and Ross’s Greek still leaves a lot to be desired 🤣 - so this was their universal language of welcoming! 🍻

We have been in Kalymnos for around a week now and although there have been wonderful highs with the lovely apartments and villas (we have had the pleasure of rating and including in vlogs), Laura’s birthday, Fathers Day etc....we have also had difficult times and will be sharing those challenges more and more in episodes as time goes on. We want people to know that no lifestyle comes without its challenges and it wouldn’t matter where you are or what you do you will always get the rough with the smooth!

But what matters most is that you are happy and living from your heart....and that’s what we feel we do.

Anyway...we are REALLY missing Holly Blue so back on the boat today and ready to head to the next destination....KOS! Have a great week guys and heres a couple of snaps from the weekend!

Personal thanks goes to Emily and Matt Wells for their support and an unexpected kind tip which meant we could have a belated birthday meal/early Father’s Day dinner Saturday night! We usually live on gyros when travelling so much in a short space of time so this was a wonderful treat! Love ya!!
