In our FIRST EVER VLOG (only took all winter in between countless spearfishing sessions - well done Captain/Editor/Procrastinator Ross!😜) we give you a fly-by account of our journey from living our seemingly ‘cushty’ suburban life in the UK, to sailing from Plymouth to Greece (with minimal sailing experience 😳) to begin our liveaboard family dream on the Greek islands! It was an emotional and difficult journey of faith, fear and courage across dangerous seas all in the name of love and family.....there was even a scary hospital admission to boot!!
We aim to inspire, excite your inner travel bugs, give you itchy feet, and entertain you with our vlogs - with hilarious rookie-sailor footage, live-aboard homeschooling family life, the honest ups and downs of getting to grips with this crazy 😝 lifestyle, and beautiful scenic videography - showing you all the amazing places we sailed to, from Ios all the way to Rhodes.....
Which is where the awesome production team from Channel 5’s documentary series “My New Greek Life” then joined the Holly Blue crew to shoot our story - this series will be aired (along with other unique stories) on Channel 5, Tuesday 11th Feb at 10pm as part of a 4 part documentary following our new life.
We have SO much more planned for this coming year - our next sailing adventure kicks off in May 2020 - and we welcome you and hope you hop on board to watch for another summer of sunshine and exploring!
