Hello again, did version 1.4.3 break .avatars again? Not the fingers this time.
This time it's an issue with the new "fpfc" mode/dance. It remains active on .avatars even though I'm not loaded into fpfc. It also remains active if I toggle that feature off. (.vrm does not have the issue)
Issue 1.4.3:
- .Avatar dances while trying to calibrate.
- .Avatar continues to dance after calibration. (different results FBT vs no FBT)
Really wish I had a way of downgrading or downloading any version of the mod(s) I would like... not locked to NalulunaModAssistant....

Hello again. I have a question/issue with newer versions of the avatar mod. In the video I shared, I am using the same exact ".avatar" model. On 1.29 the fingers work well. On 1.39 they are very broken. Do you have any suggestions as to why this might happen or how to fix it?

The directonal light of the beat saber and the TubeBloomPrePassLight affect the lighting of the avatar, but these may not match the brightness of the map, as they glow differently at different distances and sizes, and have different reflections.

ビートセイバー本体の動作が不安定だったので、今度は本体バージョンを1.29.1に変更してテストしてみたのですが、やはり同じ現象が発生してしまいました。ただ、今回は確実にずれる現象が起こる曲を発見しました。

この曲なんですが、配信後に5回ほど試してみて全てずれる現象が発生しました。他の曲では一切再現性は無かったのですが、この曲だけは必ずずれました。そして、発生するタイミングは切り替わりの暗転時だと思います。
あと、ずれる前と後のオーバーレイの座標数値をチェックしてみた所、数値の変化は一切ありませんでした。

I will check the Auto Blendshape setting, but the issue with it loading all outfits is happening without the pressing of another button, I shall have to take another look and see if the auto setting fixes this, thanks!
I am sorry for the late reply. I had not noticed your comment. NalulunaAvatars does not maintain two facial expressions at the same time, so even if Keep is turned on, it will change to that one when another key is pressed. Also, I think that the "Auto BlendShape" setting is turned on, which changes the expression if some events are fired.

I am so excited that this mod exists, I am trying to set outfit changes via hotkeys (blendshapes) And they do swap! However, while playing a song, they're not staying on, even when using "Keep" setting, it will last a few seconds and then show all outfits at once again! Am I missing an important step, or a tweak on my model? Thanks!
Thank you for the reply, it seems that it was my own height (HMD) that was changing after calibration and not the UI. Starting a song set my height properly, this only happen in the main menu. Well, this is not a problem if the calibration is done properly.

To keep the floor height unchanged, either set CalibrationType to HeightMatching or turn off Ground Height Correction. The floor height is handled after calibration, so re-calibration after changing these settings will make it work. (Of course, you can also reboot the game.)
The height of the floor does not change the size of the UI, but it may appear that way due to a visual illusion. If you change the World Scale setting, the UI will change size, but this actually makes the avatar (and your viewpoint) smaller and everything else larger.

Oh, I turned off Ground Height Correction in the Exp tab and restarted the game and the floor disappeared now. I guess it's fine this way, but it seems that restarting is the only way of removing the (fake?) floor.

Hello, I have a tiny issue with the plugin right now. I wish I could turn off the floor adjustment completely or at least make it lower than the actual game floor, as I like to see the footprint on the ground in the main menu to reposition myself, but I can't find a permanent way of doing it, the floor seem to reset every time I restart the game. Also, if I try to lower it, then the UI seem to become bigger, which I also dislike. Would it be possible to add an option for this, or is it already there and I'm just missing it? Thank you.

Also, you can change the elbow bending direction with ArmSwivelOffset on the Adv tab. This might be better in your case.

The ElbowFix on the Exp tab allows you to change the elbow bending process. The old process is 8. There may be a better number for your avatar, so please try it by trial and error.

First of all, I love this mod, thank you so much!
I'd like to report though that the elbow changes in 0.2.42 don't look as good for me. They don't look as natural as they did in .41 and earlier while playing. One stationary example of it looking weird, if I have my real life elbows at the sides of my body with my arms forward and palms facing up, the elbows will go through the inside of the VR body and the elbows would touch. In earlier versions, the elbow prediction would accurately put them at the avatar's sides. I am able to duplicate this somewhat with the included Alicia avatar, but with some other avatars, it looks worse. I think with the older prediction, wrist rotation didn't affect elbows as much.
Is there any way to potentially implement a toggle between the old way and the new way? The old way was perfect for me. If not, that's okay, I don't want to be a bother. I went back to using an older version for now.

If the model you are using is a VRM, most of them should support lip-sync (unless you made it wrong); if it is a CustomAvatar(.avatar) model, there are some that do not support lip-sync.
Does the AliciaSolid.vrm that is included with the mod work properly with lip-sync? If it doesn't work, then you are most likely missing files in the mod.

Some models do not contain the lip(mouth) information, since it is not needed for the CustomAvatar mod. If it is not a model you created yourself, unfortunately there is nothing we can do about it.

I did some more testing, I think there might be some conflict between NalulunaAvatars and BeatSaber+ Chat Integrations module. I found that either removing NalulunaAvatars or disabling BeatSaber+ chat integrations module fixes the issue. Having both of those mods enabled causes the issue to occur. I will also message HardCPP if maybe he could find a solution in his BS+ chat integrations module.

I tried the multiplayer 3 times in a row and could not reproduce it. Does this occur if you install only NalulunaAvatars, BSML and BSUtils? If so, please upload the log of that session.

Hey I noticed there is an issue with multiplayer, whenever the plugin is installed, the first map played in multiplayer lobby works fine but the second one causes the game to lag a lot (around 20ms frametime on CPU checked with FPSVR). When it starts to lag, the lag also persists in the menu and the only way to get rid of it is to go back to single player and load into a map there, then the games performance goes back to normal. This is really annoying since it makes it impossible to play multiplayer, since only one map can be played with proper performance in a lobby. Tested on NalulunaAvatars 0.2.35 and BS 1.22.1

Once I'll get home I'll redo a test and upload the log.

I can't tell without looking at the logs, but you probably don't have requirement files in there. Please copy all the files in the zip file in their original structure; lip-sync will not work with NalulunaAvatars.dll alone.

Hi Nalulululuna, I love this mod, it enables me to use my avatar in beat saber without putting too much load on my computer and with a really good tracking! Thanks you very much for your work!
There is only one problem however : I can't seem to make the lip sync work, I tried several version of the mod for the 1.18.3 version of beat saber, with several setting for my mic but it doesn't seem to work. Is there something I should be aware of when setting up lip sync?

Try setting the newly added Pelvis Offset Y value to about 0.15-0.20. If you increase the value too much, the movement of the hips will become strange, so it is best to set the value just before it becomes strange.

Thank you. The calibration process has changed a bit from before, so I've removed that setting. I thought it was unnecessary since it was originally a json only setting, but now that you need it, I will add an option soon that allows the same behavior.

I love your mod! Now I am able to use my avatar not only for vtubing but beat saber too!
There is just one thing i am missing 0.2.10 beta 11: pelvis offset. I dont know why it is normal for avatars to duck themselfs when i just bend slightly forward. In 0.1.49 (last version I used before jumping to 0.2.x) it was possible to change the pelvis offset in the json config file from 5 or 4 to 0 so the avatar followed the trackers precisely. That (global) option is gone sinse 0.2.9 but maybe it was just renamed or something? I tried to look for it in the data config as well but there are multiple pelvis settings in there so I dont know which one I have to change. Could you help please?

Basically, the frequency of a VR headset can only be a number that is synchronized with the screen updating. When the load is increased, it is halved because it skips one drawing.
You can see which GPU/CPU is the problem by looking at the frame timings, which can be found in the Developer section of the SteamVR window menu.

Actually I’ve tested in various environments already, and found the frame rate keeps 120fps well at normal maps, but drops in half at complex maps such as noodle extensions.
All of your suggestions are effective of course, but yet it seems there are limits. Well, it would be my best I can do.
I was wondering why it always drops in half, not depending on the performance(110fps, 87fps, …). Is it because of Beat Saber itself?

Increasing the number of cameras (viewport) is a major cause of load increase. Keep the number of cameras as small as possible. Also, turn off unnecessary preview cameras, as small camera images in the screen will also add to the load.
You can't rely on cpu and gpu usage numbers because they are based on dropped frames.
To reduce the load
- Disable the mirror (this also uses the camera)
- Turn on Reduce the load on VRM Rendering in the mod settings.
- Disable particles in ParticleOverdrive (too many particles are also heavy load)

Hi Nanaluna! I finally got to try this, and I hope you dont mind me sharing my impressions:
1. It is the best tracking I have ever experienced. From VMC, VRChat, or LIV, this is so amazingly accurate, and the best one of all. I can make very smooth cute movements. I love it!
2. Hip motions show up very well. This is very important for femininity in dancing. Great job!
3. I made a video and posted on twitter to showcase my experience with it. Really love this.
Now these are the things that I think would make it the PERFECT mod if it was possible to add:
1. Finger tracking. For streamers, who use avatar as our real bodies, interaction with our audience is very important and support for index controller would be really really great.
2. Front View. Ability to showcase a separate front view overlay of the avatar like many streamers do would be great. I do this on my streams using VMC source green screened. If you could add this without needing to use VMC, it would be very awesome!
