Delivery Drones in Japan

Comments

OK.... commercial planes have airways only they use. Small planes can fly their own route restricted by engines and fuel (flight plans of course). Trains have rail track only they use. Cars, trucks, and noisy motorcycles (bicycles too) must share roads. Everybody can use a road and walk or jog on them...Yikes. Maybe drones could follow roads. Not economical. Some landowners won't approve. And it will require a pilot. It has potential for problems and serving people (what could possibly go wrong)..... I'm curious to see how it unfolds. Cheers Jerry

They can mount brackets around the blades, I think Brian. I would be more worried about a drone clipping a building or obstacle and falling on someone. Sure to happen.

Am I missing something, or does the idea of delivery drones not necessarily involve blades whipping around at eye level in populated areas for even a brief period of time? How will this not eventually result in a slashing and severe injury?
