2022-10-10 22:41:52 +0000 UTCLike trying to hold back the ocean with a broom. Phones have absolutely consumed us with addiction. I have to confess I feel vulnerable now if I forget mine at home. I've actually turned around to get it while on my way to work in the morning. Remember the days of leaving the house when we were kids? You went out to play, and it was like you were in the Wild West (or the Outback for some ;) ) No way for Mom to call us back. We drank out of the neighbour's garden hose, we took off on our bikes, we spoke with our friends, built forts, played games, got dirty, and life was sweet. And we were free.
