The version of Stable Diffusion I run had many updates since I first started using it, however I never updated it. I regret it, not only did it allow for me to run XL models (still need to do more research)
They added a refiner to generations.
From what I've gathered a refiner allows you to use another model (checkpoint) "on top" of another.
Well on top isn't the right word, but more along side, it'll will generate up to a certain point with one model then generate the other portion with another model (depending on the values you set, you can have more of Model A or more of Model B). I probably didn't explain this well, I'm rather tired lol.
I started the generation with my normal model then finished the generation using a model that produces very realistic generations.
It gives off quite good results, specially with the Pam renders, with having a nice blend of human face and animal.
I do need to play around more with this, but it does hold a lot of potential
