The was a "Keep Australia Beautiful" campaign at one time... High paid dudes in suits love thinking up stuff like that, don't they. :-D (I just came back from my walk.. so I am calm now :-D )

2022-06-21 02:52:58 +0000 UTCSo.... way back in 1964 the Province of British Columbia had this license plate slogan "Beautiful British Columbia" then in 1973 Ontario used "Keep It Beautiful" a bit silly and bossy and not very original. We all seemed to think we were tidy anyway. Then in 1982 the slogan on the Ont., plate was "Yours To Discover" until recently the Provincial Premier announced "Open For Business" was the catchy phrase. That went down the drain and now they're flogging "A Place To Grow" from the 1967 Centennial song....... It gets better. In 2018 Canada legalized weed. Now Ontario has many fields of green and mom and pop shops to buy it. Japanglish may mangle up the language, but in Ontario we do funny things with words on our license plates. Go figure........I feel better now,.......goin' out for a walk.
