yes, I may do 30-45 DTE as well but I've talked about the advantage of weekly options before. All the points you made are true, but when making adjustments, and managing your position, in most cases, you'd be rolling farther OUT which is another month or two until expiration. With weeklies, I can roll out to next week and still receive a net credit.

I tend to do 30 day + time frames, allowing more time to make adjustments/roll if needed and the premiums can be fatter, and if there's a sudden move in stock price in your favor you can capture the majority of the larger premium in much shorter time frame.
