New Builder (Release)
Added 2023-04-14 17:28:49 +0000 UTCAfter nearly a year of work, we're ready to release the new and improved map builder.
You can access the builder here: app.tileforge.com
To log in, you just need to use your Discord account (it will walk you through authorization). Once you land in the dashboard, you'll need to create a new map to enter the builder.
The first time you load it will take anywhere from 20-60 seconds to load into the editor. This is because the images are not cached in your local storage yet, so after it loads once it should be faster. The builder is not tablet/phone friendly at this time - but should be suitable for any size laptop (e.g. Chromebook, etc.).
There is a simple tutorial that's inside the builder that you can access via the settings menu (hamburger icon in the top left). The tutorial will be improved before the public release, but should be enough to explain all of the tools and options. I will also be posting a video tutorial where I go in and build a house with the builder.
As you go through, if you get stuck please reach out directly on the #general Discord channel and I'll help. I plan to be online and available all weekend to help anyone who's trying to learn how to use the tool.
