Roadburn is over!

(pic by violet)

Thanks for anybody who came to see me play 3.5 sets while I was burnt out with a cold! I still and sifting through all the pictures and videos of the sets, and am still quite exhausted. As soon as roadburn was over, violet and I crashed. Have not been able to have a holiday as I only recently regained enough strength to walk to the shops lol.

(also, would people be interested in me posting photos of my live sets here? Photoshoots?? I really don't know if thats a normal Patreon thing. anyway heres me in Tilburg cemetery)

Good news, calm down at least will likely be recorded, maybe for my label. I have a recording of me practicing it before the set (no idea if it was recorded live in RB) that i'll have to put through my label if I can put it here. The final version will be different and more polished anyway. I'll try and do this with meltdown too, however I vibe with calmdown a lot more.

In the meantime, I'll be recovering for a bit. As soon as I have something to put here, you'll all see it, but I am absolutely exhausted as this was probably the biggest thing I've ever done in my life really. I'll need a big rest and - to be frank - a holiday.

It was so wonderful to meet so many new friends there too. I really need to come to the northern hemisphere more often.

Finally, I am going to rethink patreon/Uboa over the next few weeks/months. I've been wanting to be more consistent not only in terms of content (I will have a lot more time to work on music when I get back to Aus) but also aesthetics. I consider my art not just music, but also everything from my graphic design, lyrics/poetry, collages, photoshoots and even stage outfits. I've been so busy with the new LP and Roadburn I've not really had time to polish the overall 'vibe'. Now both are done!

Anyway, i'm going to rest for a bit, at least until early may. Next few months should be a Lot more productive!

im glad you were moved by it. I know I had to go back to my hotel to do the same thing. hope you were all ok after too.

Seeing art besides music would be cool. Also what you did at Roadburn was great. I enjoyed all of it, and the album set had me and two friends heaving and crying, and I had to take a tea break with one of them to come down from it. Most emotionally intense performance I've experienced yet.

This didn't read as oversharing imo. Photos would be cool and I'm glad roadburn went well! The snippets on IG sounded good af
