Bought a packet of disposable masks the last time I was in Tokyo to bring back to Sydney to show as a novelty. It's no longer a novelty and a must to wear when travelling on public transport in Sydney; who would of thought ....

You are so right, Ryvyr. That is why, when talking about the Japan stats - although they are tragic - they are still so much better than some other countries'. So grateful for that.

To accentuate the point, Japan is about 1/3rd American population and could fit roughly within land mass of California, though by most recent numbers has approximately 1/173rds the covid deaths and 100 times less cases, which grows in disparity by the day, despite Japan being so much more condensed. So, cheers for you and yours safety and health, in a country where default and guided response is more considerate of others~
