2020-08-06 23:41:16 +0000 UTCThere is something about the chirping & trilling of cicadas that really registers on a camera microphone! I've been to places like the gardens & parks around temples that seemed perfectly quiet, and recorded my interaction with the people I was traveling with. When played back... all I got was "Attack of the Cicadas!" Sometimes the voices of my friends were barely audible above the din. The little buggers really seem to hit a pitch that the microphone loves.
