So, how many of you guys have ever played the videogame “Masters of Orion 2: Battle at Antares”, the space 4X game made back in the 90’s? Nobody? Well, who cares, I’m sure you guys will enjoy this story about psychic space wolves who can mind fuck you. These guys, the Wolven, were my favorite custom race in the game, and were basically imperialistic psychic bullies. I loved them, especially when they could psychically dominate an entire planet.

This story is like many of my older works the start of something which was never properly finished. Maybe I will; the new game certainly reinvigorated my love of the idea and the universe. Or maybe you guys will demand more, who knows. :)

But if you DO like video games, especially 4x games, I really recommend the newly remaster Master of Orion, which you can find on steam here: http://store.steampowered.com/app/298050/Master_of_Orion/

Horus Blackmane smiled softly as the ship landed, hovering down from the sky on repulse lifts rather than landing like a plane like one of the Empire’s space ships would have. The blocky, gray-green vessel was simply out of place against the glistening black tarmac of the spaceport, and that amused the black furred wolf.

It seemed to amuse his lieutenant, Daniel, as well. The much younger wolf had white fur, and broke protocol to whispered to him, "That thing doesn't look like it could take even a simple Ion blast."

Horus’s muzzle twitched in a micro-smile, shifting the fur on his cheeks that had begun to grey in recent years. "Oh, I'm sure it could take a barrage of Jeremiah’s vaulted Phasors directly and think nothing of it."

The younger wolf turned to regard his master with a suspicious glance. "You give the hoomans to much credit master. They cannot build a ship that I could not tear apart with my teeth."

The older and much larger wolf grinned, properly this time showing real amusement, and turned to regard his apprentice as they stood at the head of the honor guards. Horus silently enjoyed the way the other wolves around them looked away from his gaze, some even taking a small step away from where they were standing in an attempt to get out of his line of sight. Even those wolves that were important enough to be part of his honor guard feared the black wolf with the graying fur, and they did so for good reason.

Horus Blackmane was one of the Blackguards, a coincidence of names that had always amused him. The Blackguard was the most elite servants of the Empire, and answered only to the imperial throne. When an elder Blackguard smiled, it meant they were thinking of something that particularly pleased them, and it was always a good idea to not be the subject of such thoughts. "They are called, ‘Humans’, Daniel, humans. And they have ships far superior to our own." The young wolf turned his head to watch his superior, who had returned to watching the ship land passively as he continued. "They obtained this particular armor design from the Psilons,” Horus continued, “Their two empires are arranging an alliance even as we speak."

The young wolf's eyes began to widen as he took into account all that would entail. "But in their hands, the inventions of the Psilons would…"

The smaller wolf's back straightened, and his mouth snapped shut as the young male drew himself up to attention. Daniel’s nose snapped forward and his gaze firmly locked on the landing ship, his posture parade ground perfect. Around them, the honor guard took this as some kind of sign and straightened to attention as well, unaware that Daniel had not done this on purpose.

No, Horus had psychically commanded him, and the younger wolf was unable to resist. The Blackguard smiled softly again, his thoughts boring like a drill into the young wolf's mind. *There, there little one. No need to say such things out loud.* On the inside, the smaller white furred wolf trembled slightly as the older wolf's mind wrapped around his own, Horus’s powerful psychic abilities overriding his body. Daniel could almost feel Horus's powerful arms wrap around his chest, even though the older wolf stood several feet away from him.

The young wolf trembled as Horus's mind tightened its psychic grip on him. It felt like the Blackguard was holding him by the back of the neck with his jaws, Horus’s arms wrapped around him from behind, his paw closing around his throat as he pulled him back against the older wolf’s broad chest, their naked bodies pressing together. Daniel wanted to scream at the feelings that ran through his body. His lungs were on fire and his back was arched backward as he stood perfectly straight and still and he could feel the powerful wolf's chest muscles pressed against his back. The older wolf’s fur was smooth but strangely rough as it pressed against his own puppy soft fur. Daniel trembled as he stared straight ahead, watching the human ambassador's ship land slowly, his eyes glazed over and his breathing very shallow. He felt himself being pulled down, being forced to his knees just like he had been that very first time the Commander had….

Daniel trembled as the wolf's deep voice echoed in his mind. *You've grown rebellious in the past few weeks Daniel. You speak openly. You seek to make your own way in life, I think.* It was not a question, Daniel could tell that. It was a statement of fact. *I am not giving you up, slave. Not for anything in this world. You are mine. Not even if the Emperor himself asked for you would I release you from my embrace.* The phantom hands tightened their hold on Daniel’s head and forced him against Horus’s stomach, and he could no longer breath. *Do you understand Daniel?* The young wolf felt himself begin to sweat despite the cold, his mind reeling from the dual sensations of standing perfectly straight at attention and being forced to his knees in front of his master, his face pressed so tightly against the old wolf’s stomach that he could not breath.

*Yes Master. * The young wolf whimpered mentally, *I'm sorry, I never meant…*

The young wolf's eyes bulged and he felt his chest tighten as the air in his lungs left his chest as he exhaled, but did not draw back in another breath. No matter how hard he tried to, Daniel could not force himself to breathe in again. Daniel would have scratched at his throat, desperate for air, if he had been able to control his paws. Horus held him like that for a few seconds before releasing his control over the young wolf’s breathing, allowing him to gasp for air through his nose. Daniel’s mind told him that he was breathing in Horus’s scent, that he had just inhaled deeply from the wolf’s crotch fur and that he was breathing in the wolf’s musk, but the younger wolf knew it wasn’t true.

This was the true power of the Blackguard, part of Daniel thought bitterly. It wasn’t the political power they wielded, though that was indeed great. It was this, their psychic power, that made them truly dangerous. They were the highest order of soldier in the Ebon Empire, psychics of such staggering power that they worked for the Emperor and the Emperor alone, who was the only one with the power to control them. Just by looking at you they could read your surface thoughts and a touch of their hand could opened your mind to their commands. It let them dig through your thoughts, your feelings and memories. The more intimate the contact, the more control they had, until a Blackguard controlled you utterly. The strongest of them, like Horus, could force a person’s body to do anything they wanted it to just by looking at you. Even suffocate.

Daniel had served Lord Horus for seven months now, thought it seemed like so much longer. The young wolf was quite familiar with the feeling of having the powerful, controlling mind of the huge wolf that stood beside him slowly peel his mind apart and totally take control of his mind and body. Only his true self, the tiny part of his mind that held what was truly his own consciousness was ever safe from the wolf influence. Even that, Daniel wondered about at times. His emotions, his sensations, his thoughts and memories, even control of his body, all were laid bare before the powerful wolf that was both beside and inside him.

The older wolf had dug through his mind for days after their first mating, memorized every thought, ever action the young wolf had ever taken to use it against him. Daniel knew all too well that the physical things he felt right now, the feeling of the wolf's powerful body holding him on his knees, his powerful grip on his throat, the feeling of having his face slowly pushed into Lord Horus's naked crotch as the older wolf’s hard black cock pressed against the side of his muzzle, all of it was in his mind.

It wasn't real to anyone but himself. In the real world, Daniel and the rest of Horus’s honor guard stood eagerly at attention as the human space ship finished its landing sequence.

But inside Daniel’s mind, he was on his knees, face pressed to Horus’s groin, nose on the older wolf’s balls. It was a memory, dredged up perhaps from the first few nights the wolf has spent marking the young wolf’s mind as his own. It wasn’t real.

But Daniel could still smell the more dominate wolf’s scent; feel the flesh of his cock as it was rubbed against his face and taste the wolf skin on his lips.

*You have taken a lover, haven't you Daniel.* Again, it was not a question. Daniel felt his heart tighten and he wanted to die, right then and there. Daniel in fact willed himself to die, tried to stop his heart with his own psychic powers, to shut off blood to his brain, to stop breathing, anything he could do to destroy the memories and thoughts of his lover. But he couldn't do it. He wasn't strong enough to break the older wolf’s control, and he could feel Horus holding his suicidal mental commands back easily as the young wolf struggled in his psychic embrace.

Horus held him in place as Daniel’s whole being knelt before his master's own, his face pressed against the thick black cock of his master. *I can feel him in your mind, wispy, dream like images of your body grinding against his own. These traces left behind Daniel; they could lead me to him so easily.* Daniel shivered inside his mind, and he wanted to cry out, to beg his master to stop and not look into his apprentice’s memories of the week Horus had been recalled to the capital last month. He wanted his master to leave the time he'd spend with his new lover alone. He cared for his new friend in a way Daniel had never thought possible. The young wolf loved him so much more deeply then he cared about Horus because it had not been coerced, as Daniel’s physical relationship with Horus had been.

Daniel wanted to cry as he felt his masters’ mind gather up those thoughts; stealing them away from the places he had hidden them in his mind in the hopes that the older wolf would not find them. Daniel saw fleeting images of his lover’s face a brown furred wolf whose name he could not recall, only the feeling of their bodies joined together. For a moment Daniel relived that magical second when he had cum inside the other young wolf. Daniel saw the look of happiness on his lover’s face, the brown furred muzzle twisted with pleasure as the white wolf’s knot had pushed inside him for the first time, before even that memory was stripped away from him.

Daniel had hoped that he could hide his lover from Horus. He did not want to share his lover with the older wolf. The brown wolf was special to Daniel, and so he’d spent days trying to shield their time together, hiding the memories of his lover’s scent and the touch of his paw so his master would not know who the young wolf was. Daniel had even gone so far as to purge the young wolf’s name from his mind completely, but it had all been for naught. Horus moved through the younger wolven’s shields with ease, gathering the memories as he went, moving but not touching them. The older wolf bound them into a tight ball, coiling the thoughts and sensations of an entire week of bliss into a tight ball. Then, Horus pushed them deep inside Daniel’s mind, deeper then the young wolf had ever gone before, into the part of himself he thought was his inner self, where he did not even think it was possible to go, and wrapped them in a psychic shield of Horus's own creation.

*You should be more careful Daniel.* Horus mind sent, his thoughts chastising his young apprentice. *If I wanted to, I could hunt your young lover down with these thoughts. I could use your deepest, most secret moments together to force myself upon him and take him for my own. You could have done the same, taken him when you came inside him like that, but you didn’t because you love him. Nothing like that would stop me from taking his life and his free will away from him though.* Daniel gasped as he felt the wolf's paw trace his chin, and he felt the horrible, wonderful feeling of his master’s cock against his lips.

Daniel felt himself open his mouth, a motion he made in the real world too, and he knew, deep in his heart, that Horus had not made him do that. The very feeling of his own cock hardening in his uniform in the real world as the Blackguard's cock slipped into his muzzle inside his mind him told that much. *Just as I did too you.*

Daniel closed his eyes, his mind open totally to the powerful mind of his master. He was nothing; he was just a part of Horus. He knew that, at some instinctive level. The wolf owned him so totally that Daniel couldn't even remember what his life had been like before his master has taken him. Daniel’s world was nothing but blackness and fur, his master's dick throbbing inside his mouth as his paw slowly stroked his head, petting his white furred ears that were so tightly pressed against his head they almost disappeared into his creamy blond head fur. With a soft sound of pleasure, Daniel began to suck his Master’s cock, willingly submitting to the older wolf.

Then just as suddenly it was over. Daniel felt his chest loosen and his knees unlock as his master's mind unwrapped itself from his own with startling speed. The duel sensations of the real world and his master’s mental projections were gone, and only the real world was left behind like a shadow.

Daniel wanted to cry out, but his voice was gone. He was suddenly cold, and though fully clothed, he felt naked and totally alone without the feelings of his master's body against his own. Daniel slowly rubbed his eyes, letting them adjust to the light of day again as he gathered his thoughts and rebuilt his mental shields that were left open and bare now that his master was no longer inside his head. Daniel stood there silently, appearing to watch the ship extend down the ramp to the landing strip’s tarmac, slowly putting his mind back together.

Daniel felt his heart grow cold as he found the tiny ball of psychic shields that his master had made inside his mind. Horus had wrapped every thought that had anything to do with his lover inside it, and the mental shielding was so powerful Daniel was afraid to touch them, less the shielding lash out and burn his mind out. His master has locked him out of his own memories, sealing away his happiest moments in his short life where Daniel could not touch them. They were so distant that Daniel barely understood why the memories were important to him, which left him feeling hollow inside.

The heartache he felt made Daniel wish he were dead again, and the wolf frowned. It would be better to die then leave these memories here. They represented a danger to the brown wolf he loved. Horus could still use them, and if Horus could locate them, then another Blackguard might as well. It would be better to destroy himself than let that happen, but when Daniel reached out to touch the shielding, to plunge his mind into them expecting to burn, his thoughts instead flowed through the shell easily, just as if the shielding was his own.

Daniel smiled for real, his eyes brimming with tears as his memories integrated themselves with his mind as a whole, and he mentally relived the three beautiful days he and Ian had been together. That was his name, Ian. Outside this tiny pocket of memories, Daniel had been so careful he had even forgotten the other male’s name. His heart wanted to burst he was so happy. Everything was there, hidden and untouched by his master’s mind. The moment they met, their first kiss, the candlelight dinner for two, all of it was unchanged. Then, there was the memory of two blissful days of feverous mating. Ian had let Daniel take him over and over again. He wasn’t psychic like Daniel, but he had let the wolf into his mind, and Daniel spent a moment basking in the shared pleasure of cumming inside a man who could feel exactly how much Daniel loved him.

Then Daniel pulled back, his consciousness slipping out of the memories, which faded into nothing but a feeling of deep contentment as he left them behind. Once again, the name of his lover and even what he looked like was gone from Daniel’s memory, but he knew it was in their, hidden behind the powerful shields. Horus had used the young wolf's own mind to make the barrier, a barrier so strong Daniel could never have made it on his own. He did not have the skill or strength to do this and do it so well, but his master could. Horus could us Daniel’s own mind to build this defense, and Daniel doubted anyone else would ever be able to pierce those shields, assuming they could ever find them inside his mind. The pocket of memories was buried deep. That’s when the real significance of what had just happened hit Daniel, like a punch in the guts.

The older wolf had not looked at the memories. They had been free of the telltale mental fingerprints that would have been there if Horus had relived them. His master had not delved into the three nights his lieutenant had spent mating with his lover while he had been away. He had left every memory of Daniel’s lover untouched, pristine for the younger wolf to relive whenever he needed to.

Daniel felt a tear, a real tear, creep down his cheek. His master had let him have those thoughts as his own, had even protected them from the intrusions of others. Daniel wanted to cry, his whole body wracked by his master's sudden and powerful mental intrusion, and then his equally powerful and unexpected act of compassion.

But Daniel did not have time to dwell upon that fact, because the space ship door had begun to open. With sleek precision, a hundred thousand Wolven soldiers snapped their steel clad boots together as the human ship’s doors popped open with a hiss, air rushing out of the pressurized cabin. Four guards in body armor flanked down the ramp, holding rather impressive looking guns at the ready as Horus made his way through the troops to greet the human ambassador. The old wolf grinned and motioned for Daniel to follow, extending his mental defenses out from his body and around the young wolf in a psychic shield capable of deflecting an attack even from the ships main guns. Horus smiled as Daniel nearly lost step as the shield encompassed him as well.

Daniel snapped to attention again as his master’s shielding washed over him, falling instantly into step behind his master as they made their way to the ambassador's ship. In front of him, Horus smiled as he walked with his thoughts on a million subjects at once. The young wolf had indeed been losing his focus. He had begun to lose the finely honed edge that Horus had spent so long shaping his mind into. Daniel had begun to doubt, even resent him. The love for Horus which the older wolf had carved, somewhat brutally, into Daniel’s young mind was beginning to turn to resentment. Horus let his emotions play out inside a tiny part of his mind, hidden behind thick mental barriers and his smile, unseen by all as the human ambassadors who shook his paw.

The older wolf wasn’t going to let his pupil go that easily. He’d spent many years searching for someone like Daniel. The boy had incredible psychic power locked away inside his mind. Daniel was, Horus suspected, the most powerful telepath he’d had ever encountered, more powerful than even the emperor was, though it was hard to know how strong he truly was.

Yet Daniel did not have the focus or control needed to use that potential. There was no burning desire to use his abilities; he wanted other things in life. He wanted a home, a family, and love. He was a farm boy, through and through, and had none of the ambition that was demanded of a power psychic. Horus’s smile, for just a moment, was genuine. The entire Blackguard council looked weak in comparison to the younger wolven’s power, but what he lacked in focus would have instantly been his down fall had he faced even the weakest councilman in a mental fight.

Because the truth of the Blackguards was that they were feared not for their psychic power. That power was present in some degree in the entire wolven race. What the Blackguard was feared for was their burning ambition to use that power to its fullest extent. In short, their total control over themselves and anyone they came into contact with.

That was why Horus had taken Daniel. He’d found him by pure chance, brushed against his mind by accident in a restaurant as they pushed past each other. The older wolf had grabbed him immediately, using his authority as a Blackguard to spirit him away from his family, and effectively raping the boy to establish the physical side of the mental link that was necessary for such complete control of another wolf.

Horus relived that first night of passion, harsh and painful, but also loving. He’d plowed through the boy’s mind as he’d mounted him, taking Daniel’s body and soul at the same time, making him his own. It had been Daniel’s first time, and he had been taken in every way possible. He belonged to Horus now, bodily, mentally, and most important legally.

In return, Horus had given Daniel the kind of power the young country wolf had never even dreamed of. Daniel’s family had been day laborers, so poor that they were struggling just to feed their two sons. Daniel’s mother had once gone without food for a week just to buy Daniel a set of paint supplies for a birthday present one year. It was one of Daniel’s favorite memories. Now they lived in a beautiful house in the suburbs of the empire’s capital, with enough money that they were bringing their friends and relatives to live with them. The young wolf, once destined to be on the front line of some pointless conflict as a foot soldier or to toil endlessly in some field, had instead been placed in one of the most protected and influential positions in wolven society, and perhaps in the entire galaxy. “But at what cost?” A small part of Horus’s mind wondered.

Horus’s brow wrinkled slightly as he smiled, leading the ambassadors towards the hover car that would carry them to their accommodations and then on to the first negotiation. Part of his mind went through all the motions of the formal greeting without the rest of him really paying attention. He could already tell that the intelligence reports were true. The humans had forged an alliance with the Psilon’s, and that this negotiation was only a prelude to war.

The human ambassador’s mind was being shielded by technology that could only have come from the Psilons. If he wanted to, Horus could have broken through those shields, but his mind was truly focused on other matters, and besides, it would not do to alert the Psilons that there were wolves who could pierce their technological defenses.

Daniel’s recent rebellions spoke of deeper troubles to come. If the boy felt like he was being mistreated, it would wear away at the powerful connection Horus had made with him, and that connection was what allowed him to boost his own psychic powers to a degree that any single wolven mind couldn’t possibly reach alone. Daniel was a finely crafted sword, and Horus was the hand that wielded it with vicious precision. The very fact that the boy had taken a lover and mated with another wolf besides Horus had already dulled the edge of that mental sword. He would have to do something about all this immediately. He just hoped that it would not have to be something drastic.

***

The negotiations went smoothly. Daniel couldn’t tell what his master was planning, but he could tell that Horus had been right about the humans. Just standing in the same room with the furless aliens was irritating. The ambassador seemed to be shielded somehow, perhaps by Psilon technology, but the rest of the human crew’s minds sent out a kind of white noise of thought.

It was the sum of all their subconscious thoughts and feelings, and so made very little sense. They weren’t projecting those thoughts, but even an untrained psychic would pick it up to some degree. To someone who never stepped out of his or her own mind it was quite harmless. To a race like the wolven, who all possessed some degree of psychic ability, it was extremely unnerving. A young wolven learned very early on to instinctively block out other people’s thoughts and to hold their own in. Every wolf, even the most untrained, had rudimentary psychic shielding that protected them, and those around them at the same time. Being in a room full of people who were effectively mumbling every thought they had was infuriating. Just being around a human long enough gave most wolves a headache.

Daniel spent most of the negotiations just keeping his thoughts under control, trying to ignore the buzzing in his head that threatened to overwhelm his scattered thoughts. The guards were fidgeting and obviously upset, as if they were expecting trouble. Horus seemed to be perfectly at ease however. He spoke with the ambassador like there was nothing wrong at all. He was just sitting at a table across from the human, talking with him about the possible cease-fire treaty, and offering rather generous concessions.

The human’s wanted their planets back. The wolven fleet had hammered the human federation over the past decade, using superior tactics and intelligence gathering to combat the human’s larger fleet. Over time, the human’s began to lose planet after planet, and recently the Fourth Imperial Fleet had captured a major colony, cutting off trade through the center of their territory. That forced the humans to seek help from the Psilons, which so far had been a successful venture for the humans. With far superior technology on their side, the Earthling ships were more evenly match to the wolven fleet superior tactics, and the war had turned into a blood bath for both sides. These negotiations were intended to end that conflict without more bloodshed, but Daniel could tell they were going to fail.

The human ambassador was using some kind of mind shielding device, but all his compatriots suspected that the negotiations were a fraud. Horus had methodically scanned all of them, and even now he was reading the minds of everyone in the room as the human ambassador spoke. It was so kind of the ambassador, Daniel thought, to bring along a guard who had worked with him before and could tell when the ambassador was making an outright lie. Horus didn’t need to break through the jamming device, he only had to read the ambassador’s companions and call him out when he lied.

The negotiations went as well as they could be expected to, since it was clear that the human ambassador had been instructed to make these talks fail. It was amusing to watch as he tried, repeatedly, to insult Horus enough that the prideful older wolf would be offended enough to leave or reject the human’s peace treaty. Instead, Horus was flummoxing the human by being not only being reasonable, but down right generous in his negotiations, even going so far as to forgive all the ‘cultural differences’ they had, as Horus referred to the insults the human offered him.

After a few hours, the meeting came to an end amicably, rather than with an outburst of wolfish pride as the human had hoped, and the outline of a proper peace treaty had been agreed too. The deal not only returned the recently captured major human colony, but several other worlds as well in exchange for trade deals, nonaggression pacts, and permanent ownership of any world which voted to remain with the Empire rather than return to the human federated systems. It was a master stroke of diplomacy, and Daniel was entirely unclear how Horus had managed to achieve it. So for that matter, were the humans, who agreed to the deal with a great deal of grumbling and dissatisfaction.

As they marched down the ship’s ramp and back out into the brisk air, Daniel took a deep breath and smiled, enjoying the way the wind ruffled his ears. That caused his master to pause and look at him intently, and Daniel felt the hot glow of his master’s lust as it echoed through their psychic link. For a moment, he saw how he’d looked through Horus’s eyes. A young pup smiling, head tilted towards the wind, handsome face and lithe body on display as he practically posed in triumph after the negotiations.

The white wolf’s cheeks colored as Horus led him away. The rather large bulge in the black wolf’s pants told him that when they reached their aircar, Daniel’s handsome muzzle would be full of his master’s cock for real, not just in psychic visions.
