2023-03-22 18:19:50 +0000 UTCYeah Halsey said “we were fighting in a taxi cab and I wrote that we were fist fighting in a limousine.” And then went on to say that a parent wouldn’t allow her daughter to listen to Halsey because she was being a bad role model for that line. And Halsey brings up she told us in the beginning of the album (just like in Shakespeare telling the ending first) how it turns out: “i don’t let him touch me anymore” in 100 letters. Then with the part with “told my roommate not to let you in, but you’re so good with a Bobby pin” like you said her lover has a way with words and always finds a way back into their life even when H thinks they’re finished. Which I mean is true technically like he was still in her life producing for her even when she was dating new people and the relationship was over.

I wonder if Halsey wanted that or if lido did. I assume Halsey wanted it in but it’s funny. (Lido doesn’t produce every song on the album but many he did)

It’s become one of my favs and it’s a sign I literally have stuck in my head every single day lol I’m always singing it throughout the day. Something I was reminded of when I first heard the song and what I’ve heard a few other people bring up as well is that the chorus sounds like an early 00s, Britney Spears or boy band sound lol. I think that was also their intention for the sound too.

She had been taking only one breath per minute and had the rattling breathing so it was scary. Once the meds started helping she popped right up and was giggling and acting normal again. So wild!

I remember, Halsey has talked about this in an interview how the actual situation was them fighting in a taxi but it became fist fight in a limousine and just making it all more dramatic.

I will watch and contribute when I’m feeling up to it but if you could send some good vibes/thoughts/prayers my grandmas way please, she’s very sick and we don’t know if she will make it overnight, so I want to watch this video on a day where I’m not upset and stressing.
