I had a Hobgoblin Artificer named Lorach once that was actually a scam artist. He'd sell magic items to people at great deals, but then the magic items would turn in to regular items after he enchanted something else a few days later. His signature magic item was the Lorach's Sack, which he was in a copyright dispute with against the "Bag of Holding people." Or, you know....maybe a Drunken Monk who works in a brewery/winery.
