Dad's weird "upwards" compressor design with saggy, laggy time constant does a nice job doing that 60's over-compressed piano effect. I end up playing slowly and laggy to complement it.
This was done a couple months ago. Normally I just post stuff as I make it, but I figured people would rather see more visual stuff than just music doodles all the time. I haven't done much of either 'cause I'm bouncing between half-finishing a lot of things. Like finally migrating from the old computer to a new one (which'll be a gradual process in itself) while the music set-up sits 80% finished (but that 20% remaining requires days of soldering new cables etc.), occasionally racking my brains over the logistics of the Foxglove story and trying to cut down dialogue. All these things are neither simple, nor do I find them especially enjoyable 'cause I'd rather just have the whole lot working and do what I'm good at. Basically same old story.
TL;DR Still haven't finished setting everything up, 'cause it's a distraction from making things, and making things is hindered by not having set everything up yet. I'll find some stuff to scan and colour.
