You'd think it wouldn't be fashionable to do parodies of "vaporwave"'s various "subgenres" by incorporating inappropriate music samples in an otherwise identically produced track. Apparently not, as there's still overly compressed Xfer OTT and soundgoodyized Vengence sound library productions getting millions of views and actual music videos made today. So sod it. (Also doesn't change the fact listening to some songs it's like "I could stick a house beat on this" lol)

(Do you think nowadays people don't bother crediting sample sources in their no-budget productions because, on the internet, if they can find a Japanese pop track, by golly so can anyone else? Still, it shows a lack of courtesy (which to be honest is fine too, YTP culture is funny for instance) but since these edits are usually done out of appreciation for the original, or at least recognition of potential to build upon, at least credit the source! It's not fair to revamp existing media and not let that information flow freely.)

OK I suppose my being hypocritical here answers my own question, but it's a matter of if everyone was crediting sources then I would, especially if it's practically a remix. Also some of these guys are selling on Bandcamp with an all rights reserved license which just seems arseholeish. OR EVEN WORSE, getting their song on the YouTube Content ID database which gets the original song flagged, what the hell? Thanks, automation.

Anyway next up is a poorly spliced 2 bars of Fireman Sam's theme looped for five minutes straight, fed into Maximus and Fruity Love Philter.
