Clip Studio Paint could possibly be the most tolerable of hybrid animation work, but it's still far from ideal with lots of work around etc. I'm not too bothered about the timeline though, since I got my exposure sheet I can just follow in After Effects after renaming the image sequence to conform to the drawing names.
