Mouse sneak cycle

I don't think I ever animated a generic sneak before so I decided to give it a little go based off the Preston Blair book. The mouse is slightly inspired by Little Roquefort.

There's quite a few things wrong with it and that's the curse of cycles. Flaws are amplified every time it occurs on screen; the head is like snapping back so fast it's like a whiplash, perspective issues on the feet, inconsistent construction and design in general. I mean, it was just a test done for the sake of it ,but there you go.

I like to rough the inbetweens very rough after doing the keys and breakdowns somewhat cleaned-up as you can see. Surprising that a sneak with exactly a second per step is actually quite fast, whereas a second per step for a walk cycle would be insanely slow.

Yeah, that's just how scribbly I get sometimes when animating. I'd have to go through this like 5 more times to get to the final drawings, including keeping the feet in proper perspective and such.

Looks to be a great start, though it's side on in perspective it seems you used some 3D space? His body seems to sway from side to side a little with the movement. I also like how his feet sort of pigeon toe as they move backward. If you plan on finishing it I would recommend making it last longer and more exaggerated, but it works as a hastier sneak walk too.
