Weekly update
Added 2023-10-06 07:31:18 +0000 UTCSo its been another week or so and I've been chugging along, rendering and coding every day and making good progress. The East Block is going to be my focus until chapter one is released in a month or so, after that I may continue with Senior Year if there's demand for it. I'm expecting to get a decent number of new patrons, or hoping at least and if enough of them are interested in Senor Year, I'll keep working on it, but I'm expecting my new project to be my main focus going forward.
Incorporating choices is both a lot of fun and a lot of work. It requires much better organization with your project in order not to make a mess of things. The East Block will be light-ish on choice, but they will matter and lead to different scenes, dialog and choice options as the story progresses.
Currently I'm aiming for a mid November release date for The East Block, but I'm not going to make any promises as I want this first chapter to be great and it will require a lot of testing for the choices, saves, loads, rollbacks, etc. As always, patrons will get first crack at it before the public release.
