The focus

One thing I never really gave too much thought was monetizing this hobby back when I started earlier this year, and my lack of forward thought on this topic really shows with the number of subscribers I have lol. I never thought I'd ever even get one sub so I guess I have surpassed my own expectations. Still though I haven't really tried very hard to get my stuff out there. I had Senior Year on itch back when the first episode came out but it was removed after a week or so due to "questionable ages" of some of the characters. It was also denied on f95zone as well, or seems to have been since they said it needed to be verified to not have opposite of adult content and they just never got back to me. This was surprising to me since the ages are clearly stated right from the beginning and the dialog, setting and maturity/intelligence demonstrated by the characters is that of adults. This is extremely frustrating when I see other visual novels on f95 and itch where there are games with straight up opposite of adults that look a lot younger than the one's in my game. This is the main reason why my next project The East Block will feature characters that are much more mature looking as to not worry about this issue. So I'm going to work really hard on the first chapter of The East Block and then make a solid effort to get it some exposure because I'm really excited about how good it will be.
Anyway, this was just a little rant that I felt like writing. I'll post more in a week or so.
