With October & Halloween on the way I couldn't resist have a Spooktober poll! Below you'll find three horror themes for our October issue of Questline Monthly!

Each month on the 15th we'll have a poll to vote on the theme for the upcoming issue of Questline Monthly. Please read the descriptions of each theme below and vote for your favorites down below! You can choose more than one theme if you'd like and keep in mind there can only be one winner! But don't worry, if your theme doesn't win it will carry over to the next month!

The poll will end on the 20th and the winner will be declared the chosen theme!

Catacomb Themed (Haven of the Dead)

Deep underground lies a network of tunnels and chambers of immense size. A system of seemingly endless subterranean passageways built to house an untold number of dead. The Great Catacomb was abandoned by its constructors long ago. It stretches for hundreds of miles beneath the surface, and its size has yet to be determined. Many have devoted years to exploring this system of underground crypts. But much is still unknown about the origin of its creation and the countless dead that rest there.

If you pass through the skull-inlaid arches of The Great Catacombs and travel down a series of winding tunnels, you'll eventually find yourself in a grand open chamber. Enormous in size, this underground cavern is the central hub of the catacombs. Dozens of passageways lead outward from this massive chamber into the complex network of tombs. Now repurposed, this chamber is a refuge for those who come to The Great Catacombs. Known as Crypt Haven, the makeshift town was constructed from bone within this grand chamber and is inhabited by those seeking fortune, knowledge, and adventure within the catacomb.

Witchcraft Themed (Daughters of the Damned)

Ravenghast was a horrible witch of wicked intent and ancient origin. Her foul magic and mysterious malevolence haunted both fairy tales and nightmares. But, this reputation was not always tied to her. Generally, hags looked like crooked crones, wrinkled and withered women of unsightly appearance with blotchy skin marred by warts and moles. Contrary to this, Ravenghast was extremely beautiful. She was tall with a slender figure, silky voluminous black hair draped far down her back and over her shoulders. Her green eyes were piercing, like a prowling lion, and a curious smile always curled across her full lips. Her pale skin would illuminate in the moonlight, revealing a perfect complexion. Through manipulation and dark magic she was able to amass a following of loyal members who worshipped her dearly.

Eventually, Ravenghast wished to pass down her powers to daughters of her own. She conducted a dark ritual, and consumed the bodies of three infants. Only days later, she gave birth to three daughters of her own; Circe, Blaire, and Hecate. Sister Circe the Beguiling, who received her mother's beauty. Sister Blaire the Callous, who inhereted her mothers wit. Lastly, Sister Hecate the Heinous who inhereted her mothers wickedness.

Abyssal Vampire Theme (Coven of the Deep)

A vampire coven has acclimated to living in the depths of the ocean. Their skin is ghost white, nearly transparent. Their limbs have elongated, and webbing has formed between their extremities. Like most vampires, they do not require air, allowing them to remain underwater for extended periods of time. The deep sea is also void of light, providing the vampires sanctuary from the sun’s deadly rays.

Lurking at abyssal depths, between deep trenches in the ocean, these vampires create spawn. Seafarers crossing the sea at night make perfect targets. These vampires attack pirates, merchants, and travelers, attempting to sink their ship or atleast throw crew members overboard. In the water these vampires easily out maneuver their targets and drown them. While victims drown, these vampires will drain them of their life force to create new vampire spawn.
