Plague Theme

A city know for its exotic markets and  flourishing culture has been afflicted with a mysterious plague. The city itself has blocked its gates and now prohibit anyone from entering or exiting to prevent its spread. The same residents that once filled the city with festive music and glee now drearily trudge through the streets in despair. Those afflicted with the plague eventually go mad from the disease, becoming violent and in extreme conditions even murderous. With each passing day the city falls further into chaos.

The plague itself is thought to have originated from the sewers system beneath the city. Miles of winding pipes create a putrid maze just beneath the city streets. Until the source of this plague is discovered it will continue to spread, and those trapped within the city will continue to suffer.
