I love drawing bikes. They're intimidating at first, but so simple and elegant. All the parts are laid out right there, brakes, pedals, gears. They make sense in a way that I don't think other things do (like, what's a car? what's a HORSE??? forget it). I have a Bianchi and I'm obsessed with it. I think 2020 is the year I draw a bunch, a bunch, a bunch of bikes.
A few weeks ago, I saw a girl biking past my house with some flowers sticking out of her backpack. I've been the girl with the flowers sticking out of her backpack before. I think it's charming. I didn't get a good look at the flowers she had, but I imagine they could be hydrangeas. Hydrangeas are one of my favorites.
