If this keeps happening, I may have to switch from the sketchbook to Bristol board, because the sketchbook paper has a pronounced surface texture. Fighting it makes these things take much longer than they otherwise would. But it turned out okay, I think. It's a theme I always find cute. And designing the shoulder treatment on the dress was fun. As you'll see in this week's second post, I continue to whittle away at my commission list, and this week I'll be roughing out the first few Far West pages. Things proceed, however slowly. Hopefully you're enjoying the content in the meantime.
